There is no better season in Michigan than fall. Sweater weather and soaking up autumn certainly suits us. And these fall-inspired cocktails make the season even better. Here’s to fallin’ for fall again and again this year…
The Apple Haus
- 2 oz Coppercraft Applejack/li>
- .75 oz cinnamon apple syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Apple cider
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into Collins glass. Top with apple cider from a local apple orchard like Robinette’s in Grand Rapids, Crane Orchards in Fennville, or Overhiser Orchards in South Haven.
Cider Mill Old Fashioned
- 2 oz Coppercraft Applejack
- .25 oz maple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Stir with ice in mixing glass. Strain into rocks glass and top with a large ice cube. Garnish with burnt orange peel and a cinnamon stick. Drink while sitting beside a crackling fire with friends.
Sweater Thyme
- 1 oz Coppercraft Gin
- 1 oz Coppercraft Citrus Vodka
- .5 oz Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
- .75 oz lemon-thyme syrup
- 1 oz lime juice
- Blueberry lemonade
Shake with ice and strain into Collins glass. Top with blueberry lemonade and garnish with lemon-thyme sprig.
John Keating
- 2 oz Coppercraft Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskies
- 1 oz smoked rosemary syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
- Black tea
Shake with ice and strain into rocks glass. Top with black tea and garnish with burnt rosemary spring. Best enjoyed with football fans.
The Scenic Route
- 2 oz Coppercraft Rye
- .5 oz sage syrup
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
Stir with ice in mixing glass. Strain into rocks glass that has been sprayed with tobacco tincture. Add large ice cube and garnish with sage leaf and burnt orange peel.
