Super Bowl Sunday should be a national holiday. At least we think so. A whole day dedicated to one of America’s favorite sports. The Kansas City Chiefs square off against the San Francisco 49ers for the Lombardi Trophy next week. This will be the Chiefs’ sixth appearance at the Super Bowl and the 49ers’ eighth appearance. Of course, our distilling team crafted a few Super Bowl cocktails to commemorate the moment. Find them below and share your Super Bowl cocktails with us on social media using #coppercraftdistillery.
Super Bowl Cocktails
Red & Gold Sour
Still a tad sour about our Detroit Lions loss, so we channeled that energy into a Red & Gold Sour, honoring the team colors of both contenders.
- 2 oz Coppercraft Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskies
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 egg white
- .5 oz pure maple syrup
- .5 oz pineapple syrup
- .5 oz dark red wine
Combine Coppercraft Blend of Straight Bourbon Whiskies, lemon juice, egg white, and syrups in a cocktail shaker. Shake without ice for 30 seconds. Add ice and shake again for 30 seconds until well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Slowly pour wine over the back of a bar spoon so that the wine floats on top of the drink.
